- Payments are made monthly on or before the agreed due date via M-Pesa™️ or Cheque.
- A grace period of one (1) week is allowed for late payments, provided there is prior communication.
Geoscot will:
- Use the vehicle for lawful business purposes only.
- Handle minor maintenance (e.g., oil changes, brake pad replacements, tire repairs).
- Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained.
- Notify you immediately in case of accidents, damages, or major breakdowns.
- Ensure the vehicle is only driven by authorized and qualified drivers.
- Return the vehicle in good condition at the end of the lease term.
As the vehicle owner, you will:
- Handle major repairs (e.g., engine overhauls, transmission repairs, bodywork).
- Ensure the vehicle is roadworthy at the start of the lease.
- Provide valid insurance and logbook copies.
- Allow Geoscot to monitor the vehicle via a tracking device for safety and security.
- The vehicle must remain fully insured by the owner at all times (Comprehensive).
- Liability in case of accidents is determined by the insurance policy terms.
- Geoscot will cover minor repairs (e.g., scratches below the insurance repair threshold of Ksh 30,000).
